Molly Martens is an experienced systems engineer with a resume spanning heritage aerospace companies and startups in commercial space and green technology. Her specialties include systems engineering, spacecraft safety analysis, spacecraft certification, spacecraft cargo integration, on-console mission operations and mission management.

Most notably, Molly worked on both the Crew and Cargo Dragon programs at SpaceX in several different roles. She led the system safety certification effort leading up to the first crewed Dragon mission and the initial Cargo Dragon 2 mission. Molly also supported the Cargo Resupply Services (CRS2) contract as a Mission Integration Engineer. She was the lead cargo specialist for two CRS2 missions and was responsible for pressurized cargo certification, integration, delivery, and return. After SpaceX, Molly moved to Colorado to work at Sierra Space as the lead systems integration engineer on the crewed Dream Chaser program, and supported ISS integration and certification of the Cargo Dream Chaser vehicle.

Molly holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. In her free time, Molly enjoys all of the year-round outdoor activities Colorado has to offer and volunteering for her local humane society.
